About us
We are Swatilekha, Sandeep and our daughter Ditsa — a family brought together by love, curiosity and an endless desire to explore.
Swati comes from West Bengal, while Sandeep is from Kerala. We both work in the technical field in Tamil Nadu, but whenever we get the chance, we leave our routines behind and set out to discover somewhere new.
Travel has always been an important part of our lives. We love the hills, forests, quiet villages and places that are still away from the usual tourist trails. We try to keep our journeys simple, budget-friendly and as close to nature as possible. Sometimes that means choosing a less comfortable road, staying somewhere simple, or taking the longer route just for the experience.
For us, travelling is not just about visiting a destination. It is about experiencing it — its people, food, traditions, landscapes and the little things that make a place unique. We usually prefer homestays over hotels and traditional local food over familiar choices. We believe that staying with local people and experiencing their way of life gives us a much deeper connection with a place.

And then came Ditsa, the most beautiful blessing in our lives. She has added a whole new dimension to our journeys, and we are slowly discovering the world through her eyes too.
When we are not travelling, Swati enjoys writing, reading and DIY projects, while Sandeep spends his time reading, photography and playing table tennis. Now Ditsa also started reading, skating and table tennis.
Through this blog, we hope to share our journeys — the places we discover, the people we meet, the food we taste, the mistakes we make, and the little moments that stay with us long after a trip is over.
We don’t travel to collect destinations.
We travel to collect experiences.
If our stories help you discover a new place, plan a trip, travel a little more responsibly, or simply inspire you to step out and explore, we would be delighted.
And we’d always love to hear from you — whether it’s about our travels, our writings, a place you think we should visit, or simply an idea you’d like to share.
Welcome to our little world of travel.
